“Adbusters Style” Infographic Magazine Spread
This is an infographic editorial project about tropical rainforest depletion.
Due to the subject matter of the graphs and charts I wanted to go with an Adbusters magazine aesthetic. The goal was to make an impactful infographic that was easy to read and understand while still carrying the edgy grunge aesthetic of the popular publication.
was able to maintain the aesthetic and usefulness of the infographics by carefully spacing out the elements in a way that was both gridless and structured. Torn paper and charcoal scribbles were used for further impact.
The infographic is accompanied by a powerful photo of rainforest destruction with glitched type, further pushing the grunge aesthetic.
